punctuation marks in a language that are used to structure or organise the writing and make the meaning clear to users.

To understand the importance of punctuation marks

Uncle Hari was  said i am a person who believe in hard work I agree that he was a hard working man

Now read the lines again

Uncle Hari was said, " I am a person, who believe in hard work”. I agree that he was a hard working man.

some commonly used punctuation marks –

1 Full Stop ( . )We use Full Stop (.) At the end of the sentence

Example I love music.

With Abbreviation and short form like a.m ,p.m, M.A. etc.

2 Question Mark (?)-we use “ Mark” (?) at the end of an interrogative sentence 

Example- What is your name?

3 Exclamation Mark (!)

At the end of a sentence that expresses a sudden feelings

 Ex- What are the beautiful ! 

after an interjection –

Ex - WoW ! We won the match.

4 Comma (,)use to indicate a Pause

Ex- The dress was old, but it looked beautiful.

5 Capital letter –

beginning of a sentence

Ex-Give me your book.

Used to begin proper nouns and adjectives form from proper noun.

Example. -Sonu and Monu are Indians.

We write first letter  always in capital form in all type of

Sentences

  We always write “I” and "O" in capital form

Ex- I went a toy shop ,I saw there many toys.
